Wow 3 months really? I held my niece the other day who is 7 weeks younger than Kemp and was just amazed at how much he has changed and grown. Our little boy is so tall and big and everyone tells us that when when they sees him.
He is quite the talker and and as I am sure you know he smiles a lot! It is amazing how one day they can't do something but then the next day they can! He and I have been running 5 days a week for the past two weeks! There is a toy on the stroller that he would only touch by happen chance but suddenly on Thursday he started grabbing it himself. He even fell asleep on our run and so I left him in the stroller till he woke up and when he did he started playing with the toy and was entertained by it for another 10 minutes!
He certainly loves his mommy and doesn't like it when she leaves him. Yesterday I had a meeting after church and then had to get my temple recommend signed by the stake president. I was gone longer than he usually waits to nurse nurses but he didn't want a bottle I guess and he didn't complain he just waited for me to get home. He has so much fun with Daddy and just loves to talk and smile with him any chance he can. Sometimes at night I hold him while Lincoln does homework on the couch next to me and Kempton will just look at Daddy no matter which way I have him facing he will crane his neck to see him.
He is so fun and we are so in love!

The Opening Ceremonies

I have started a tradition with our family of watching the opening ceremonies and eating food from the country they are being held in. The Summer Olympics were held in London so we ate fish and chips. This year I was stumped on what to make it is not like there are many Russian restaurants around town so I couldn't just pick something up. Fortunately the morning of the ceremonies I was watching the Today Show and they did a cooking segment on Russian food. I looked up the recipes and off to the store I went. I was pretty happy I had most of the ingredients necessary for Stroganoff and lemon custard raspberry tarts.

The tarts I actually made on Sunday and shared with Lincoln's family. They were a hit!
My Aunt Debbie had given Kemp 3 bibs that he modeled for us during the ceremonies!

Such a cutie!!!

What mommy is letting me watch this???

I didn't get a picture of it this year but as tradition goes the boys fell asleep during the ceremonies and mommy enjoyed them immensely!

Valentine's Day

I will be honest I love Valentine's Day! For me it is just a fun day to show love and I do not care if it is too commercialized. I love the sweet gifts my mom would give us growing up, I love the decorations and I love the candy! I was very exciting for me to be able to by Kempton his first Valentine gifts. I knew I had to buy him a mustachifier and when I saw the sock frog I was in love. Sadly the pacifier has a hard nipple and he gags every time i try to get him to use it so no cute pictures there yet. He does like the frog he can hold it easily and smiles when he sees it.

Lincoln really surprised me which does not happen often. Yes those are bobby pins. He actually stole my phone got my hair dresser's number, called her up and found out which bobby pins were used in my wedding up do! I had finally ran out of the bobby pins left over from the wedding about 6 months ago and was complaining about the ones I bought at the store so he did something about it! I am such a lucky girl to have a man that cares so much about me.
Lincoln does not get home on Fridays until late and Saturday was booked so we decided to do lunch on     V-day!
We didn't want to waste time waiting in a line or waiting for food so I went to Paradise Bakery and picked up lunch. We then met at a park near his work and it was a gorgeous day. The rest of the day Lincoln kept telling me how wonderful the lunch was and how he loved getting outside and being able to eat slowly and lay on the grass with his two favorite people. We are going to start making our picnics in the park a bi-weekly event.

One of Lincoln's gifts from me is that fabulous shirt!

Look at those lips!

Happy Belated Valentines's Day!

Baby boy is just sooooo much fun. Lincoln and I were talking a couple days ago about how adding Kempton to our family was not much of a change if anything we arrive earlier to everything and are more organized. We even started going to ward choir which is before our 10am church.

Cutie just chilin.....
we know he shouldn't be on the counter but we were never more than a foot away from him

Playing cards with Daddy!

Really trying hard to figure out his next move

I can really see Lincoln in this picture.

Trying to get a cute picture of Kempton with his Nana but he was so into the fan it was really difficult.

Loves to lay on his side. So sweet.

Happy early Valentine's Day!
